Kinnettles Hotel & Spa is delighted to announce our new restaurant and bar, The Dram & Haggis, will open on the 21st of May.


Focussed on serving great Scottish produce in the heart of St Andrews, The Dram & Haggis will offer a mouthwatering a la Carte menu alongside more laid back Scottish style tapas to be enjoyed with our extensive whisky selection, Scottish cocktails and local craft gins.


Ideal for that romantic meal for two or a casual bite to eat after enjoying 18 holes – The Dram & Haggis offers a brilliant culinary experience while our bar is the perfect place to relax and enjoy with friends.

The Bar

Where do we start? At the Dram & Haggis we stock the absolute best in Scottish Whiskies, in fact you will have over 150 to choose from…and not just in the traditional way as we have developed a number of delicious Whisky cocktails. These are not to be missed. 


The Dram & Haggis isn’t just a Whisky bar however and we offer some of the best in locally produced gins and a wide selection of spirits, wines and craft beers. 

Meet the team
Kevin Joubert • Executive Head Chef

Kevin grew up in the hospitality industry, working in his parents s restaurants in South Africa. After becoming a head chef he knew it was the career path for him.

After leaving South Africa for Scotland his culinary expertise flourished and he founded The North Port Restaurant in Perth and a chef proprietor of Kingarroch Inn Gastro Pub in Fife. Kevin was recognised for his refined style of cooking by receiving acclaimed awards by the Michelin Guide, Good Food Guide and awarded AA Rosettes for culinary excellence.

He is thrilled to be the head chef of Dram & Haggis and carefully curated both our menus to reflect the style and feel of the restaurant.

Sean Smith • General Manager

Sean has 15+ years in the hospitality industry and is looking forward to delivering an exciting new concept Dram & Haggis. He is passionate about fresh, local produce and fine wines, whisky and spirits.

Sean is joining Dram & Haggis after a successful few years with Haar Restaurant. Previous to Haar, he has experience working in a range of service styles from pub gastro to 5* fine dining.
